Frequently Asked Questions - Holidays Bootcamp
Get answers to common questions about our creative design-thinking workshops for the young innovators during school holidays or term break.
Our workshops are designed for children aged 9 to 15 years. We focus on building design-thinking skills through engaging, hands-on experiences that spark creativity and problem-solving.
Kids will learn core design thinking principles. They'll tackle real-world challenges, develop entrepreneurial mindsets, and gain confidence through practical problem-solving techniques used by global innovators.
What does the 3-Day Extensive Workshop series look like? Our 3-Day Extensive Workshop series runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day, on the dates advertised for the programme. Every day features one in-depth session hosted at a local school or community hall, offering a consistent and progressively structured learning experience.
Parents and guardians are kindly asked to drop children off at 9:45 AM, ahead of the 10:00 AM start. Collection is at 1:15 PM once the session wraps up for the day.
Children are welcome to bring a light snack to enjoy during a short 15-minute break held in the middle of each session.
No special skills required. Our workshops welcome all curious minds. We meet children where they are and help them develop creative thinking and design skills through supportive, collaborative environments.
Interactive and hands-on. Kids work in small groups, learn design frameworks, prototype solutions, and practice iterative thinking. We encourage exploration, creativity, and learning from mistakes.
To ensure personalised attention, each face-to-face workshop batch is limited to 10-15 children registered during the holiday bootcamps.
In each workshop for a total duration of 3 Days, students work on one complete project from start to finish. This approach emphasises depth and quality, helping them understand every aspect of the design challenge they select.
No, children don't need to bring a thing! All materials are provided, including folders, worksheets, and any other resources needed for the session.
The only exception is if a child is working on a project that involves building or prototyping a concept. In those cases, they're welcome to bring any scrap or recycled materials they have at home (such as cardboard, bottle caps, fabric scraps, etc.) to help bring their idea to life. However, this is entirely optional and not a requirement.
